Eric L. Smith

For over 25 years, I have been photographing performing arts and related subjects. I hold a B.A. in Communications and an M.F.A. in Graphic Design. My day job as Assistant Director of Student Publications at UT keeps me busy during the daylight hours. Some early evenings, I can be found teaching Communication Graphics for the UT School of Journalism and Electronic Media, and my nights are often spent photographing concerts, opera, symphony or theatre performances.

A native of Illinois, I have lived with my wife, Mickey Chapman, in Tennessee for over twenty years. We share a home with our Pomeranian pooch, Pequot, who's the real leader of the pack.
